HOW TO USE AND PRESERVE BAMBOO STRAWS
All bamboo products of Bhimex are well-dried and UV-rayed food safe. So the products are ready to use. However, to prolong the lifespan of products, you should rinse with warm salt water after use.
When you use bamboo straws, please note that:
- Do not put in microwave / oven;
- Do not soak in water, detergent;
- Do not expose to direct sunlight;
- Do not use iron wire to clean, only use specialized cleaning tools such as coconut brush to clean straws.
- Because of natural bamboo, after cleaning, it is advisable to wipe dry, avoid exposure to direct sunlight that will cause warping and cracking.

Bamboo straws have difference in color. Natural bamboo products have the following basic colors: light yellowish white, yellow, dark yellow, brownish brown, and dark brown.

Why is there color difference in natural bamboo products?
As bamboo grows, it will be affected by different elements such as lighting, water, land, the surrounding environment, so the color and texture of bamboo will be different. For each bamboo product, different texture will be changed to create the desired shape for the product. As a result, the texture of the bamboo also changed. There is also a natural bit of bamboo texture that cannot be adjusted during the manufacture. That will lead to the color variability in each product made from natural bamboo.
